GNCC Bike Youth Race Report
Moose Racing Snowshoe GNCC

By Chad Ford

The Snowshoe Mountain provided a beautiful setting for the GNCC youth event and a unique opportunity for those who participated. The start procedure was reminiscent of the old Blackwater 100 with the rows starting only seconds apart after the riders drew for positions in those rows. For those of us who had experienced the Blackwater start, it was a step back in time. There were many recreational opportunities for the youth as well including an indoor/outdoor pool, mountain biking of all sorts, and the recreational center down by the lake. The Mountain was all in all a fun place to get away for the GNCC families.
