St. Clairsville, OH—The morning race saw 380 racers—the most for any morning race so far this year, which shows just how big the off road racing scene is in Ohio. Angel Atwell took another win on her LTERACING.COM backed ride ahead of second place overall and in the Women’s class Yamaha-backed Traci Cecco.

Third overall in the morning went to the winner of the 16-19 C class on an almost stock Polaris Predator which was Josh Konecheck. Third place in the Women’s class went to Lexie Coulter all the way from Texas. Following Josh in the 16-19 C class was James Davidson and then Jeff Seelig all finished in the top ten overall. These kids are the ones to watch next year as they move up into the afternoon. I’m sure we will be hearing their names on Pro Row in a few short years.

The highest finishing utility in the overall was Josh Ribley on his Kawasaki V-Force in the U2 class. Josh used to be an XC1 Pro. Following Josh was Four Stroke Tech backed rider Mike Benson in second place, and rounding out the top three was Robert Smith on his BigNutzRacing/Pro Action backed ride.

The 4x4 Open class championship was decided this weekend as Factory Can-Am Warnert rider Rick Cecco took the win and the title just ahead of Bryan Buckhannon. The 24+ C class was won by Danny Thompson with Brandon Symmes in second and Michael Pellegrini in third. Th 20+ C Class was won by William Payne who has wrapped up the 20+ C championship in second on his Big Nutz Racing backed ride was Ryan Smith (me) and third place went to Fred Marley. In the 30+ C class John Subrick took home first followed by Michael Young and Gary Parmeter. The 36+ C class was won by the rider all the way from Canada, Phil Deschamps. This guy deserves big credit running the whole series and being from our northern neighbor. John McDaniel took second ahead of Thomas Claggett who finished in third.

The afternoon race had 206 racers take aim at the dusty Powerline Park course. The highest finishing amateur was College A rider Spencer Dickerson from Arkansas.
