Dustin Gibson launched into the GNCC spotlight based on his solid riders in the XC2 Lites class on a 250 four-stroke--but he's a big rider who may ride even better on a bigger bike. His 250F career was impresive, though, as he won a race in both 2007 and 2008, and claimed second behind Thad DuVall in the 2008 XC2 final rankings while riding for the Monster Energy/Andrews Yamaha team. Those strong rides caught the attention of Husaberg, who was looking for a rider to compete on their radical new 450. A serious competitor, Gibson isn't intimidated by anyone on the track, and he is no doubt capable of putting his big blue machine up on the podium during his rookie season.
