Chris Borich has proven to Bill Ballance's toughest rival for the GNCC Title, as no one has pushed Ballance so hard and so far. Once the GNCC Young Gun, Borich has matured into a consistent star who can win on any terrain, in any weather, and even with a bad start. Chris switched to the potent Rockstar/Yoshimura Suzuki team in 2008, and his results dropped a bit while developing his new machine. Late in the season, though, he had the bugs worked out, and he ended up with his customary number-two plate. Borich wants to be number-one, though, and even Ballance would admit that he's probably the strongest threat to do it.
