Matt Smiley put together a great comeback in 2007, finding his old form after a tough 2006 season saw him drop well out of the top ten in points. The veteran Smiley has always been known as "Mr. Consistency," and he proved why again this year with eight top five finishes and 12 top-tens, along with three podiums. His performance is even more impressive considering how many talented young riders have jumped into the XC1 ATV fray. The field gets deeper but Mighty Matt keeps finding ways to hold them at bay.
