Location: Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee
“There’s no place like home.” – Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.
The name alone says it all: Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. This is the oldest race on the GNCC circuit, and it draws a lot of riders. And yes, the property is owned by the world famous Coal Miner's Daughter, Loretta Lynn. If she's not on tour somewhere, she'll even come over and say ‘hi’ to the racers!
The ranch is an expansive campground facility, which means there are hookups for those with campers. As for the track, the place has hosted a lot of races over the years, so there are trails everywhere. Pay attention to the course arrows to stay on track.
The soil is sandy, so the place gets whooped out. Some sections are covered in small, shale rock, probably not tire-cutting stuff, but enough to ruin your traction, so be careful. And most of all - be in shape: the whoops and the heat and humidity indigenous to this area can sap your strength. Drink water all week to prepare for this one.
A national-level motocross track is also included in the lap. This is the same famed motocross track that hosts the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships for bikes and the ATV Dirt Days, the final round of the ATVA National Motocross Championships for ATVs. It’s a great track, but the jumps are tamed down a bit for the GNCC. No big doubles here - just rounded table tops, so don’t worry if you're not a motocross ace.

Special Info: This is an actual campground, so a separate camping fee will apply. There are also hookups available. Campfires are not permitted. Parts Unlimited will be on-site as part of the 2010 Parts Unlimited Dinner Tour.
Directions: From Nashville, take I-40 West to Exit 143. Turn right and follow Route 13 North 7 miles to the Ranch on the left.

Western Town: You haven’t really experienced Loretta Lynn’s until you drive just a little further down the road past the track into Western Town. Loretta lives right there behind the old mansion. Some say the mansion is haunted. We just think it looks scary at night. There’s an old grist mill, Loretta’s Museum, Western Shop, gift stores and snack bar. It is a beautiful town dedicated to a beautiful woman – our Loretta!
