The course length of "Green Valley Shinra AAGP" will be 18~25 km and the longest course in the Orient, and its feature is to be overwhelmed by the vast scale, that may cause the illusion of being in the wilderness of New Zealand.
This National Park blessed with rich natural environment is located at 860 meters above sea level, and is usually restricted and obviously riding motorcycle is also prohibited. However, the partner of JNCC, Mr. Ryuichi Yamano who manages the AAGP race, has proposed the cross country motorcycle races in this area in order to maintain the firebreak - the 12 meters wide fire line to prevent the spread of wildfires (The maintenance costs are reduced because the weeds won't be grow by riding on) - and that was granted. Therefore JNCC has gotten a special permit for the race, that makes this race invaluable.
Mr. Yamano has worked on the mid-sized Green Valley cross country races for 10 years. To inject vitality into the motorcycle's sluggish market in Kyushu, JNCC was brought last year and the race was held. The race was filmed by helicopter and introduced widely in Japan and the response was very favorable. This year, AAGP arrests people's attentions as an anchor of the Japanese major tournaments and will be a great race.
About AAGP :
A Japane cross-country race becomes very popular by the popularity of JNCC.
AAGP which becomes the extreme end of JNCC every year is recognized as the special event which has created Japanese XC & ED history widely even of that.
The origin of the name of AAGP begins in being separate so far in each convention and preparing the game rule of XC which didn't have unity at all and unifying it so that Mr.Masami Hoshino who is the representative of JNCC may make the Japanese XC & ED world develop into the reliable thing in 1995.
As for him, it is the beginning to rename "HurricaneED" which had been in that including "Division of a class of the rider who moved the unification of the game rule and an AA class to the apex is done in common in the Japanese whole country." and the proposal for ten years and to be born.
A top rider including Mr. Randy Hawkins did friendship participation in this AAGP before the birth until 2002, and the great riders of GNCC didn't miss it, and entered again from 2006.
AAGP could give it the opportunity which could run with the super rider of the worldwide level which obviously exceeds a Japanese level with being in Japan.
That fulfills very great contribution to the Japanese rider, and a Japanese rider follows the back of Mr.Randy and GNCC rider of exactly, and it will be able to be said that a level increased.
Then, this holds the dream of the Japanese rider as a motor cycle event of Japanese maximum as an important JNCC extreme end of a race from this as well again with having the honorable friendship cooperation of GNCC on AAGP.
