St. Clairsville, OH - With rough, fast and slippery track conditions, team WMR/Nihilo Concepts/Clockwork/Planet Fitness KTM had a decent weekend at the Power Line Park GNCC.
Big news of the weekend was KTM's Kailub Russell winning his first overall!
As for WMR/Nihilo Concepts/Clockwork/Planet Fitness KTM XC1 Pro rider Nate Kanney he had a rough day. Nate started in 8th place and while trying to charge through the pack, he went down in a big mud hole halfway through the race. After having to come into the pits for fresh gloves, he struggled to make up time on the leaders and ended up with an 8th overall.
As for WMR/Nihilo Concepts/Clockwork/Planet Fitness/Fly Racing KTM Open A rider Chris Douglas, he had another awesome day! Once again he won the highly competitive Open A class and just missed the top amateur award by 15 seconds! If it wasn't for getting stuck in a mud hole then endowing after hitting a tree on the last lap he would have won that prestigious top amateur award two weekends in a row.
Overall it was a great weekend for team WMR/Nihilo Concepts/Clockwork/Planet Fitness KTM. The next race will be in 2 weeks in Crawfordsville , IN
