As we set our sights on the first race back from summer break, we decided to take a look at two riders that seem so very similar on the outside. Suzuki machine, Makita-backed, defending champion, current points leader and all-around GNCC dominate - sure we could be talking about either Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Chris Borich or FMF Makita Suzuki's Josh Strang. BUT, when you throw out all race-relevant similarities, you may find that these two riders have very little in common when it comes to personal favorites and off-track preferences. Take a look at this week's Tuesday Toolbox, featuring our current XC1 points leaders on both sides of the GNCC spectrum.

Borich: RC car racing
Strang: Cycling (after shedding some pounds to look like a twig)
FUNNIEST TRAVEL STORY?
Borich: Pretending to throw McGill's hummus out the window and watching him have a break down
Strang: Almost every race last year with Rodney and Mike we got lost on the way to the track. I think it was a combination of those two guys telling me stories from back in the day. I wasn't complaining, definitely some good ones!

Borich: My dad raced the Florida race in 98 and then got me to run a few races in B class at the end of the year
Strang: Saw it in Aussie magazines, saved my money and flew over and gave it a go! One of the best things I have saved for!

Borich: A lot of things I'm a picky eater
