Union, SC (April 11, 2011) ‐ The competition in the XC‐1 class in the GNCC series has proven to be ultra competitive and the Big Buck was no different. A difference of less than 1 minute in one lap can separate 1st through 7th. Scott Gear sponsored Nate Kanney pushed through a stacked field of riders to end the day in 7th after a mediocre start.
WMR's OPEN A Fly sponsored rider Chris Douglas pushed from a dead last start to 2nd on the day narrowly missing a win by by 19 seconds. Chris sits third in points after four rounds of racing.
WMR'S Supermini rider Michael Maresca had a tough day, but still managed to finish 7th in the Supermini (14‐15) and 10th overall. Michael is in the hunt for the championship and currently 3rd in points.
