Used Gear Needed - September 30, 2010 Team Faith is partnering with Grace Racing Ministries in an effort to collect used riding gear. Grace Racing Ministries is based out of Macedon, NY and is a Christian Not-For-Profit off-road sports ministry. Their objective is to provide at-risk, underprivileged, physically and mentally challenged youth the opportunity to learn to ride dirt bikes.
Grace Racing Ministries consists of all levels of riders, from Pee Wee's to Professionals, boys and girls. Each school age member is required to carry a "C" average in school. No member may be in any way involved in illegal activities, school related trouble, and must have all homework complete in order to participate in weekly events.
Team Faith has been conducting chapel services on the GNCC Racing series for the 2010 season. While attending the Unadilla, NY Round, pit pastor Chuck Lemaster learned that Grace Racing had more kids than they had equipment and was in dire need of used riding gear!
Team Faith will be collecting used riding gear at the remaining two GNCC rounds (St. Clairsville, OH and Crawfordsville, IN). Any gear of any condition is acceptable. Please bring all donations to the Team Faith rig located on Vendor Row.
