Here's a Day 2 update from ISDE documentary filmaker Jeff Legue:

Day 2 was rough on the riders and claimed more victims. USA Junior Rider David Kamo had a mechanical issue and was force to with draw. The Day 2 course also claimed the always tough David Knight as well. Once you watch this highlight video you will understand how rough the course really is.

Here's another update from our Women's GNCC Champ, Amanda Mastin:

Hello Everyone!!

Day 2 is done and tomorrow is new trail and new tests!! Today went better for me. I didn't crash in any of the tests. I did fairly well in the beach sandy test, but the rocky enduro test I'm losing time on. So hopefully tomorrow I can work on making some of that time up....

The Women's USA Team slipped back to 4th by a few seconds. Maria is riding strong and having fun. Lacy is staying focus and having fun also. The Junior Team lost a rider today, Kamo went out with bike problems. The USA also lost club rider Ryan Powell due to mechanical issues. It seems that keeping the bike running will be the key to having a good week this year.

Tomorrow night I will have some more time in the evening to post updates. So for those of you that would like to see some pics, I will send some then. Until then keeping cheering us on, its a long week and we're fighting till the end to bring home the win.

GO USA!!
