We've got ISDE updates coming in from all over!

First, here is a note from American ISDE documentary filmaker Jeff Lague:

Day 1 is in the books and Team USA had their share of problems. A major blow to the Trophy Team was the loss of Ricky Dietrich, who had to pull out of the race due to mechanical problems. The US Trophy Team still hung in there and wound up in 5th. The Junior Trophy Team had a great day with a 2nd place finish, just over 1 second behind France.

Now an update from GNCC Women's Champion Amanda Mastin:

Day 1 is done and so far so good. The day wasn't the best for me, I crashed a few too many times today in the tests. No major crashes, just things that took time and energy. So that is what I am going to work on tomorrow...staying upright. Our Women's Team is in 3rd place right now, behind France and Sweden. It is a long week, lots of trail, hot weather and anything can happen. As long as we are consistent and focus on finishing we will do good in the end.

As for the rest of the team, our Junior Team is standing in 2nd place overall!! Dietrick went out today with bike problems..other then that..everyone is doing good!

Thanks for the support...Go Team USA!!
