To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Amanda Mastin and I live in Whitehouse, Ohio. I have qualified for my eighth International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), the most prestigious motorcycle enduro race in the world. The ISDE is considered the "Olympics" of off-road racing and each year it is held in a different country.  This year it is in Figueira Da Foz, Portugal, October 12-17, 2009. There will be thirty two other riders representing the United States, all competing against 600 of the best enduro riders from all around the world. Out of the thirty two American riders going, they have chosen three of the top women off road riders to go compete on the Women's World Trophy Team to represent the United States.

The race consists of anywhere from 150 to 175 miles per day, depending on the course. Throughout each day there will be 6 to 10 "special tests". These tests are generally 3 to 5 miles long and are timed to the second, so you want to go as fast as possible through these sections. The remaining part of the race consists of "trail sections," that take you to required checkpoints on the course. Arrive early or late to a checkpoint and you are penalized, so you want to pass through the checkpoints on your predetermined time. At the end of each day, the rider has ten minutes to work on their bike, before they are impounded for the night.  Likewise, there is a ten minute work period, each morning, before the start of the race. Throughout the entire race, no one, other then the rider, can touch the rider's bike. All work and repairs to the bike, must be done by the rider, otherwise it is a disqualification. The race is an ultimate test of physical, mental, mechanical, and riding abilities.

As a woman rider, in a male dominated sport, the ISDE is one of the highest possible goals, a woman racer can reach. This will be my eighth ISDE and it once again is a great honor to represent my country, in a sport I love and dedicate myself to so much. I plan to go to Portugal and put forth my best effort for Team USA and the Women's World Trophy Team.

I am asking for your support to help me represent the United States in the ISDE this year. I have designed the following sponsorship levels:
